Yes, there are. Started developing on a mac some days ago but everything is new and different for me, unable to tell you a time frame. Mac Audio Unit will be easier, iPad App requires re-developing the whole UI. Additionally, there are hard restrictions by Apple, hopefully they will approve it at all once finished.
